This Audio CD contains Recordings of the 'Western' class Diesel Hydraulics in the 1970s.These genuine recordings were made in the 1970s by Graham Arnold who took the time and trouble to capture the unique sounds of Westerns at Work on the Western Region of British Railways.

The distinctive sounds can be heard on all the major routes out of London Paddington as far as Cornwall, South Wales and the Midlands. Recordings are taken behind the loco from the front coach window, as well as lineside and from the Platform this CD will blow you away!! Purchase of this audio CD will go towards the continued upkeep of D1015 Western Champion restored for mainline use by the DTG.
