THE SWINDON WESTERNS: D1000 - D1029 is the second volume in a new range of photographic-DVD albums from Classic Traction. Observed through the lens of local railwayman & photographer Bernard Mills, this DVD album contains over 120 wonderful images of the class 52 'Western' diesel-hydraulics that were built at Swindon between November 1961 and July 1964. Each of the thirty Swindon built 'Westerns' is examined in detail, from the iconic D1000 Western Enterprise to D1029 Western Legionaire, covering the period 1965 to their sad demise in February 1977.
