Latest News 1st February 2012 D821 Confirmed to attend Swanage Railway Diesel Gala 11th - 13th May and DTG Sales Stand Dates announced for 2012................................................

Work continues behind the scenes on D1015 or, more accurately, its constituent parts. The Diesel Traction Group are currently working on two power units, one of which will replace the power unit written off after the 50th tour and the other will be held in reserve. The opportunity is also being taken for Western Champion to have extensive bogie work while free of mainline commitments. D1015 currently resides at Tyseley, Birmingham and the DTG would like to thank Bob Meanley and Vintage Trains for extending their hospitality to the locomotive while it is out of service. The task of restoring D1015 to full health is an onerous and expensive one and for those who wish to make a contribution towards the work please click on the link below or visit the DTG Sales Page and click on D1015 Engine Contributions to make a donation.
